I placed an order & still waiting for it to ship. What gives?
When ordering, please keep in mind that our current estimated processing time is UP TO 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS (excludes weekends + holidays). We will do our best to exceed these time estimates as much as possible, however with periodic heavier shop volume, severe inclement weather (i.e. flooding, power outages), supply vendor delays, etc. we may need just a little more time to fulfill, on our latter end. Etsy automatically will email you with your shipping/tracking information once your order is complete. Thank you immensely for your patience and understanding!
My tracking states that my package was delivered, but I never received it. Is there anything that can be done?
Please Note: Mint & Ocean Apothecary does not automatically assume responsibility for stolen / missing packages. If your package was shipped via USPS Priority Mail (insured), please message us so that we may follow up and assist. If your package was shipped via USPS First Class Mail (uninsured), please message us as well and we highly recommend contacting your local post office for details, as they often can identify your package’s exact location at time of delivery. First Class packages do not automatically include insurance for theft, damages & missing items. We also recommend checking with neighbors, if possible, and giving delivery a couple of extra days past the delivery mark.
Our Sea Moss Gel Policy:
Our fresh, made-to-order Sea Moss Gel ships frozen with an ice pack via USPS Priority or Priority Express (per your selection). We kindly ask and will remind you via Etsy message to please refrigerate *immediately* upon arrival and before consumption. We ask that you please check your Etsy message inbox and tracking updates periodically to help optimize & preserve freshness. Depending on your location, your Sea Moss Gel may arrive at room temperature - this is normal. *WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCT SPOILAGE LEFT UNREFRIGERATED PAST DELIVERY, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF USPS DELAYS.* As always, feel free to message us anytime with any questions / concerns!
How long does your Sea Moss Gel last?
We recommend up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer. When freezing, please store in a freezer-safe container (as glass can sometimes crack) and thaw in a room-temperature water bath (warm or hot can deteriorate minerals and thicken gel).
Our Exchange Policy:
We currently accept:
• Exchanges for unused, non-edible products only
For all exchanges, please message us within 7 days of delivery. Product(s) must be *completely* unused / in their original condition - NO exceptions. Please Note: edible products are not eligible for exchanges due to shelf-life & sanitary reasons, except in cases of damages or defects (please see our Replacement + Refund Policy). Buyers are responsible for shipping fees and we request that after messaging us, please ship the item(s) you would like to exchange back to our return address on your order sheet. Upon receiving/inspection, we can issue a replacement for an even exchange (cannot be combined with refund).
Our Replacement + Refund Policy
We currently accept:
• replacements / refunds for products that are damaged / defective / incorrect upon arrival
For all replacements / refunds for damaged, defective + incorrect items, buyers must contact us within 7 days of delivery. No refunds accepted outside of our 7-day window. Buyer has the option between a one-time replacement of the identical product(s), inventory allowing or refund. Please Note: in instances of missing or lost packages, please message us so that we may assist with a USPS search. We do not automatically assume responsibility for missing USPS packages.
Do you ship internationally?
As of May 2023, we currently ship to Canada only via USPS International. We have paused our international shipping services elsewhere in order to continue to comply with new customs regulations & regulations. Feel free to still message us with any questions anytime and thanks so much for your understanding!
